Principal Product Mgr - Tech, Amazon Business Payments

Amazon · Seattle, Washington, USA

Amazon Business Payments is reinventing how businesses pay and get paid. Our Business Credit Account already lets companies buy on credit at scale, and we are now building the next generation of B2B payment infrastructure to operate natively inside customer workflows, built for an agentic-first procurement environment.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical to set the vision and own the multi-year strategy for a programmable, self-reconciling payment and settlement system. This is a 0-to-1 charter with company-level visibility, where the problem, opportunity, and strategy are not yet fully defined. You will distill diverse inputs from large customer segments and senior stakeholders into a clear vision, apply one-way and two-way door judgment to high-stakes decisions about how a multi-billion-dollar payment flow is settled, and partner with engineering, science, finance, legal, and external partners to bring it to fruition.

You will operate as the single-threaded leader for this space. You will make the case for the technology investments required, shape how the product is architected for agentic AI use cases, and use technical judgment to drive the build, partner, and buy trade-offs that determine Amazon's long-term position in B2B payments.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer with an understanding of the end-to-end customer experience for agentic AI and global expansion
• Own delivery against high-visibility, company-wide goals
• Partner closely with the engineering organization on developing and scaling the architecture to support business goals
• Drive cross-functional alignment with senior leaders across Payments, Amazon Business, Tax, Accounting, and Sales
• Create and present zero-to-one business ideas within the fintech space
• Provide thought leadership to identify new ways to benefit customers and build scalable products
