Product Manager, Android Infrastructure

In this role, you will have an opportunity to shape the future of Android development at Google by driving the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will be at the forefront of innovation, working with an execution oriented team and collaborate with teams across Google and key partners, including DeepMind, to define and deliver impactful AI-powered solutions for our Google developers.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 2 years of experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
  • 1 year of experience in leveraging AI/ML technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in direct product management of developer focused products, tools or technology, including engineering user interfaces.
  • Experience working with and guiding engineers with limited PM exposure.
  • Experience executing and landing complex, multi-year projects.
  • Familiarity with open source code management tools, Google’s developer toolset and ecosystem, or both.
