As a part of the Technical Infrastructure team, you will be building and maintaining the architecture that powers everything users see online, from developing and managing data centers to building the next-generation of Google platforms, making Google's entire product portfolio possible.
In this role, you will serve as an engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so you can rebuild them, while keeping networks up and running to ensure users have the best and fastest experience possible.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in one or more of the following: compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU (x86/Arm) and I/O technologies, Cloud Infrastructure, Storage, understanding of the operational aspects of Cloud Servers.
- Understanding of different workload requirements (emerging and existing) and their demands on the underlying infrastructure, familiarity with key Enterprise workloads such as MSSQL , SAP HANA.
- Understanding of locally attached Storage systems (LSDD) and performance needs.
