Product Manager II, Google Cloud CDN, AI Workloads

As a Product Manager, you will drive the product strategy that charts Google’s leadership in this rapidly emerging market. You will be responsible for delivering a planet-scale Cloud CDN and secure edge platform accelerating dynamic content delivery, API routing, and seamless AI workload adoption across Google Cloud.

US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 2 years of experience with networking, network architecture, networking protocols, and software architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of product management experience scaling CDN, API gateways, load balancing, or enterprise networking products.
  • Experience with programmability frameworks (e.g., WebAssembly) for custom routing and cache key normalization.
  • Experience integrating CDN capabilities natively with containerized orchestration and serverless platforms.
  • Expertise in modern networking protocols, content delivery, and caching optimizations.
  • Familiarity with securing global application traffic, WAFs, and DDoS mitigation architectures.
  • Knowledge of networking and routing requirements for enterprise AI architectures (e.g., Model Context Protocol).
