Job Description

Visa Acceptance is part of Visa Inc, a global leader in digital payments, fraud management, and secure commerce solutions. We power the connectivity, trust, and scale that enable businesses around the world to accept payments and grow with confidence.

Product Managers at Visa Acceptance Solutions are the architects of our product strategy and the drivers of product success across the organization. They define vision, shape roadmaps, and lead cross-functional execution to deliver secure, scalable, and high-impact capabilities for merchants, partners, and internal teams.

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for CGK (Common Gatekeeper), a foundational enterprise platform that serves as the central gateway for authentication, authorization, identity resolution, and secure request orchestration across Visa Acceptance Solutions. CGK plays a critical role in protecting platform access, enabling compliant regional deployments, and accelerating service onboarding for internal product and engineering teams.

This is a highly strategic role for a product manager who can operate at the intersection of platform strategy, security, developer experience, and enterprise scale. The Product Manager will partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and downstream application teams to evolve CGK as a trusted, scalable, and easy-to-integrate platform that supports business growth globally.

This role is an individual contributor role within the Visa Acceptance Product Management organization.

Job Scope:

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for CGK (Common Gatekeeper), aligning platform investments to enterprise priorities across security, scale, developer enablement, and regional compliance

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision for CGK as the enterprise security gateway and authentication authority for Visa Acceptance Solutions, with measurable objectives and KPIs tied to onboarding velocity, platform adoption, latency, resilience, and security outcomes.

  • Lead the evolution of a multi-tenant authentication and authorization platform that supports diverse access models including OAuth, mutual TLS, API keys, session-based authentication, and service-to-service identity patterns.

  • Drive platform capabilities that simplify onboarding and integration for internal application teams through self-service and declarative configuration models, reducing dependency on platform release cycles and improving time-to-market.

  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define product requirements for secure identity resolution, authorization context generation, request enrichment, and downstream trust propagation across distributed systems.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across 20+ application and service teams to understand integration needs, prioritize platform capabilities, and ensure CGK delivers a consistent and scalable developer experience.

  • Shape regional and cross-border platform strategy to support data residency, regulatory compliance, and credential isolation requirements across global deployments, including in-country and region-specific architectures.

  • Prioritize the product backlog and make tradeoff decisions across platform scalability, customer impact, technical debt, risk reduction, and compliance commitments.

  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, connecting authentication, routing, header enrichment, and policy enforcement features to outcomes such as operational efficiency, faster onboarding, reduced friction, and improved auditability.

  • Collaborate with Technical Product Managers, Engineering, and Program teams to ensure requirements are well-defined, execution is predictable, and delivered capabilities meet intended business and platform outcomes.

  • Review platform feedback, incidents, adoption patterns, and operational metrics to continuously improve the product and inform roadmap priorities.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies including planning, backlog grooming, demos, and release reviews to ensure high-quality execution and alignment across teams.

  • Partner with Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and regional teams to ensure CGK meets enterprise standards for reliability, trust, governance, and regulatory readiness.

  • Act as the product evangelist for CGK, driving shared understanding of platform capabilities, integration patterns, best practices, and strategic direction across Product and Technology organizations
