It is responsible for defining and evolving a core platform that transforms complex financial documents into structured, actionable tax data through OCR, integrations, and emerging AI capabilities. The position plays a critical role in reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, and enabling seamless data ingestion across multiple channels. It requires strong product leadership to balance innovation with compliance, reliability, and scalability in a highly regulated environment. Working closely with engineering, AI/ML, design, and compliance teams, the role shapes how tax data is captured, interpreted, and leveraged across the ecosystem. Accountabilities:
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Document Intelligence Platform across B2C and B2B tax products.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and ideation through development, launch, and continuous optimization.
- Translate customer needs, market trends, and business objectives into scalable document processing and data ingestion capabilities.
- Oversee development of intelligent document workflows leveraging OCR, AI/ML, OFX integrations, and emerging data extraction technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML, UX/UI, compliance, and legal teams to deliver secure, accurate, and high-performing solutions.
- Use data analytics, customer insights, and experimentation to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved data quality.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements while maintaining responsible AI practices.
- Communicate product vision, priorities, and outcomes clearly to executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- 5–7+ years of product management experience in software, fintech, tax, or financial services environments.
- Strong experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, and delivering complex data-driven or platform products.
- Familiarity with document processing technologies such as OCR, data extraction systems, APIs, and AI-powered workflows.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams including engineering, design, AI/ML, and compliance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to product decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in Agile environments and applying design thinking or similar product discovery methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance innovation, scalability, and regulatory constraints.
