We're looking for a Head of Payouts to own and scale dLocal's payout payment methods globally. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the vertical — strategy, roadmap, team, and outcomes.
You'll define where we play and how we win: which markets, which rails, which partnerships, and how we build infrastructure that's reliable, fast, and cost-efficient at scale. You'll lead a team of PMs and work at the intersection of product, operations, commercial, and engineering to make payouts a competitive differentiator for dLocal's merchants.
Set the strategic direction and multi-year roadmap for payout methods globally — new rails, coverage expansion, redundancy architecture, and conversion performance.
Lead and develop a team of product managers focused on payment methods, local rails, and operational excellence.
Define and drive the metrics that matter: conversion rate, reliability, time-to-payout, cost per transaction — and build the systems to continuously improve them.
Own key partner relationships globally: banks, local payment providers, and infrastructure partners. Negotiate and shape integrations that give dLocal a long-term edge.
Drive an automation-first culture in payouts — systematically identifying manual processes and leading the product investment to eliminate them.
Represent payouts product strategy with senior commercial and merchant stakeholders; be the voice of the vertical in executive conversations.
Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Compliance, and Commercial leadership to ensure our payout methods scale with regulatory, commercial, and merchant requirements.
Set the bar for product quality: API design, documentation, rollout processes, and post-launch iteration.
Bring an AI-first lens to the vertical — identifying where AI-powered tooling can improve operations, decision-making, and product discovery.
Significant product leadership experience in fintech or payments, with a track record of building and shipping payment infrastructure at scale (payouts, payins, cards, wallets, bank transfers).
Experience leading and growing product teams — you know how to hire, develop, and create clarity for PMs.
Deep familiarity with global payment ecosystems: local rails, partner dynamics, regulatory context, and market nuances across multiple geographies.
Strong executive presence — able to influence without authority, drive alignment across senior stakeholders, and represent the product in commercial and merchant conversations.
Technically fluent: comfortable shaping API strategy, reviewing architecture trade-offs with engineers, and translating complex operational requirements into scalable product solutions.
Data-driven at a strategic level — you use metrics not just to monitor, but to set direction and make bets.
Automation mindset backed by results: you've built or led the build of systems that replaced manual operational work.
Based in Europe, working CET (or close), with flexibility to engage across global time zones.
Fluent in English; strong written communication across PRDs, specs, and executive narratives.
