This role sits at the forefront of AI-driven website creation, shaping how users go from intent to a fully launched digital presence in the simplest and most intuitive way possible. You will define the vision and product strategy for AI-powered site generation, ensuring customers can create professional, high-quality websites with minimal friction. Working across product, engineering, design, and external vendors, you will orchestrate the end-to-end experience from prompt to published site. This is a high-impact, principal-level role focused on setting standards for AI-generated experiences and improving activation, conversion, and retention. You will operate with significant autonomy while influencing leadership decisions and long-term platform direction. The environment is fast-evolving, deeply cross-functional, and centered on leveraging AI to redefine how websites are built and experienced.

Accountabilities

Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for AI-powered website creation, owning the full end-to-end user journey from initial intent to publishing and ongoing optimization. This includes:

  • Defining product vision and roadmap for AI site generation and creation workflows
  • Owning the full customer lifecycle: prompt/input, AI generation, editing, publishing, and iteration
  • Integrating and managing third-party AI vendors, design systems, and content generation tools
  • Setting experience and quality standards for AI-generated websites (layout, content, personalization, mobile readiness)
  • Partnering with engineering and design to translate AI capabilities into simple, usable creation workflows
  • Driving activation and completion metrics such as time-to-publish, conversion, retention, and satisfaction
  • Coordinating cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, and GTM teams
  • Leading launches and continuous improvements that increase adoption and long-term engagement
  • Providing leadership with clear insights on roadmap tradeoffs, outcomes, and product performance
  • Ensuring AI-generated websites meet a consistent, production-ready quality bar
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate brings deep product leadership experience and strong intuition for AI-driven user experiences, especially in website creation or digital presence platforms. You will need:

    • 8+ years of product management experience owning complex, customer-facing digital products
    • Strong understanding of website builders, hosting platforms, and online presence ecosystems
    • Experience building or scaling products integrated with third-party vendors or external platforms
    • Strong grasp of UX, workflow simplification, and conversion-focused product design
    • Familiarity with AI tools, prototyping, and emerging AI product patterns
    • Ability to partner closely with engineering on API constraints, scalability, and system design considerations
    • Experience defining product metrics and driving outcomes such as activation, retention, and engagement
    • Strong communication skills for aligning executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
    • Strategic thinking balanced with hands-on engagement in customer insights and product execution
