Director, Product Management - A2A & Money Movement

This is a high-impact leadership role shaping the future of bank-based payments and money movement capabilities across a modern fintech platform. You will define and own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Account-to-Account (A2A) payment rails, including ACH, RTP, FedNow, push-to-card, and open banking solutions. Operating as a player-coach, you will lead a small product and design team while remaining deeply hands-on in customer discovery, technical decisions, and strategic execution. The role sits at the intersection of product innovation, financial infrastructure, and partner growth, directly influencing revenue and market expansion. You will collaborate closely with engineering, finance, risk, and commercial teams to scale high-value payment capabilities. This environment is fast-paced, highly cross-functional, and focused on building next-generation money movement infrastructure.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will define and execute the end-to-end strategy for A2A and money movement products while driving measurable business impact across revenue, adoption, and partner success.
- Own the product vision, multi-year roadmap, and execution strategy across A2A payment rails including ACH (standard and same-day), RTP, FedNow, push-to-card, open banking, and payout solutions
- Build and manage product strategy with clear commercial outcomes, including revenue targets, margin expectations, and partner adoption goals
- Lead and develop a team of Product Managers and Designers, setting OKRs, coaching performance, and driving execution excellence
- Translate complex partner and merchant needs into scalable product solutions across use cases such as disbursements, payroll, collections, and marketplace payouts
- Own and evolve product P&L in collaboration with Finance, ensuring alignment between product investment and business performance
- Partner with Engineering on core payment infrastructure including settlement, ledgering, reconciliation, fraud, and risk systems
- Drive external and internal stakeholder alignment with banks, payment networks, and commercial teams to expand ecosystem reach and capability adoption
- Represent the product externally through customer engagements, workshops, and industry conversations while driving internal product advocacy
- 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in payments or financial services
- Deep hands-on experience with A2A payment systems such as ACH, RTP, FedNow, push-to-card, or open banking (not limited to card payments)
- Proven track record of building revenue-generating financial products, including pricing strategy and ownership of product performance metrics
- Experience managing and scaling product teams, including mentoring and developing Product Managers and Designers
- Strong understanding of payment infrastructure, including settlement flows, reconciliation, risk, and exception handling
- Ability to operate as a player-coach—balancing strategic leadership with hands-on product execution
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using insights to guide product prioritization and decision-making
- Familiarity with modern product development practices, including experimentation, agile delivery, and AI-enabled workflows
