You will be responsible for defining and driving enterprise-wide quality engineering strategies, ensuring robust automation frameworks and testing practices across multiple teams and programs. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure platforms meet strict operational and regulatory expectations. This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role, combining technical depth in test automation with strong delivery ownership across large-scale initiatives. Accountabilities:

  • Define and lead enterprise-level QA automation and quality engineering strategy across multiple programs, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end test lifecycle execution, including test planning, design, automation, regression, performance, and production validation.
  • Drive the design and implementation of advanced automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing using modern tools and methodologies.
  • Establish governance for BUAT (Business User Acceptance Testing), defect management, and release quality assurance processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for complex testing initiatives, ensuring scalable and efficient quality solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of testing practices across SDLC and Agile/Waterfall models.
  • Own production release readiness, including weekend release support, incident validation, and post-deployment quality assurance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by adopting emerging technologies, best practices, and test engineering innovations.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience in automation testing and strong financial services domain exposure (3+ years preferred).
    • Proven leadership experience in QA automation or SDET roles within complex, enterprise-scale environments.
    • Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
    • Hands-on experience building scalable UI/API automation frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
    • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and test-driven development practices.
    • Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL systems (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch) is an advantage.
    • Experience with microservices architecture, Spring/Spring Boot, and CI/CD pipeline development is highly desirable.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global, distributed teams.
    • Ability to lead by influence, mentor teams, and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.
