As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital products used by a large and growing global user base. Working across web applications, internal CRM systems, email campaigns, and push notification channels, you will help deliver seamless user experiences through thorough testing and quality assurance practices. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with product managers and developers, contributing not only to testing activities but also to product improvements and release planning. You will be involved throughout the development lifecycle, identifying risks, validating functionality, and helping refine quality processes. Accountabilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test cases and testing scenarios for new features and enhancements.
- Perform manual testing of web applications, including functional, regression, smoke, usability, and UI/UX testing.
- Test and validate internal CRM systems to ensure stability, accuracy, and proper functionality.
- Verify email campaigns and push notifications across different platforms and environments.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar solutions, covering both positive and negative test scenarios.
- Utilize browser developer tools to investigate issues, analyze logs, review network activity, and identify console errors.
- Assess testing risks, contribute to sprint planning, and provide quality-related insights during the development process.
- Create detailed and well-structured bug reports, including reproduction steps, severity assessments, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure feature quality and successful releases.
- Support the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in manual quality assurance focused on web applications.
- Experience testing CRM systems, customer-facing platforms, email campaigns, and notification workflows.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles (SDLC/STLC), testing methodologies, and test design techniques.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience creating and managing test cases, test plans, and defect reports using tools such as Jira or test management systems.
- Familiarity with databases and data validation using technologies such as MongoDB, BigQuery, DataGrip, or similar solutions.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, including Git workflows and code review processes.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience working with deployment pipelines.
- Experience analyzing logs and debugging issues using monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced product environment.
