Solution Engineer

Epicor · Vietnam, Remote

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical and functional resource in the sales process during engagement with prospect/customer.
  • Act as a liaison with the Product Managers to:
  • Discuss potential product development
  • Provide input to new product development
  • Receive output from product development
  • Provide business expertise in such processes as manufacturing, accounting and work flow analysis.
  • Preparing for and conducting demos along with Sales team.
  • Consult with sales force to provide solutions to customer requirements
  • Collaborate and share knowledge and expertise within the SE Community.
  • Working with Channel Enablement in enabling partners Solution Engineers in selling Epicor.
  • Responding to RFIs and RFPs on Epicor and related products.
  • Conduct customer and prospect webinars.
  • 20%-50% Travel within the Region

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operational ERP experience, you can come from channel/partner/distributor background with proven presales experience.
  • Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry is essential and knowledge in Distribution and Financial is a plus
  • Presentations / demonstrations skillset is a pre-requisite (someone can explain Why rather than just What)
  • Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP (R3 or later), Microsoft (Dynamics 365), QAD, Infor, IFS, Oracle EBS, Exact, Sage, or other ERP local companies such as Digiwin.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English is essential. Capability to communicate in other languages is an advantage

Qualifications

  • 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree (Holding a degree in Industrial Engineering is an added advantage)
