As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in helping organizations strengthen their cybersecurity posture by delivering technical expertise throughout the pre-sales journey. Working closely with sales teams, channel partners, and customers, you will design tailored security solutions, demonstrate advanced technologies, and guide proof-of-concept engagements that address complex business challenges. Accountabilities:

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, identify business challenges, and design tailored cybersecurity solutions.
  • Deliver engaging technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and solution briefings for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain trusted technical relationships with channel partners through regular engagement, enablement, and strategic support.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, product evaluations, and remote customer trials while providing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain demonstration environments and personal lab infrastructure to showcase security solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with product management, technical support, marketing, and sales teams to provide customer feedback, improve product adoption, and support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Participate in beta testing programs and contribute technical insights to influence product enhancements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple cybersecurity solution areas while sharing best practices and mentoring fellow solutions engineers.
  • Support onboarding activities for new team members and contribute to technical enablement initiatives across the region.
  • Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity trends, competitive technologies, and evolving customer requirements to provide strategic technical guidance.
  • Requirements

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
    • Strong hands-on expertise with enterprise cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, cloud security, SASE/SSE, email security, web filtering, and secure networking solutions.
    • Deep understanding of Layer 2 through Layer 7 networking protocols, network architecture, NAT, routing, switching, wireless networking, PKI, encryption, Active Directory, LDAP, and virtualization platforms.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as SaaS security and hybrid infrastructure environments.
    • Familiarity with scripting, automation, API integrations, regular expressions, Syslog, NetFlow/IPFIX, and troubleshooting complex enterprise environments.
    • Cybersecurity certification such as CISSP is required; cloud certifications and vendor-specific security certifications are highly desirable.
    • Experience supporting channel partners, distributors, or enterprise customers throughout the technical sales lifecycle.
    • Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX, FERPA, or similar regulatory standards.
    • Strong presentation, communication, consultative selling, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with Managed Security Services (MSS), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), or Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions is considered an advantage.
