This is a senior, customer-facing technical consulting role focused on shaping high-impact network and connectivity solutions for enterprise clients in complex, large-scale environments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, combining deep expertise in routing and switching with strong solution architecture and business storytelling capabilities. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, pre-sales consulting, and strategic customer engagement, where you will influence adoption of advanced networking solutions through demonstrations, trials, and architecture design. You will collaborate closely with customer technical teams and internal stakeholders to define solutions, validate performance, and ensure alignment with real-world deployment needs. In this highly visible position, you will also contribute to thought leadership, mentoring, and strategic product feedback. Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end consultative engagements including discovery, solution architecture, value articulation, and technical validation with enterprise customers.
- Drive strategic trials and proof-of-concept activities, translating technical results into adoption-focused insights and collateral.
- Act as a technical advisor to customer engineering teams, identifying gaps, optimizing solution performance, and aligning architecture with production requirements.
- Partner with internal product, engineering, and sales teams to influence roadmap decisions and support solution positioning.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and storytelling that clearly communicate solution value and differentiation.
- Contribute to solution strategy through competitive analysis, industry insights, and participation in standards or thought leadership initiatives.
- Mentor and support internal technical teams, helping elevate engineering practices and customer engagement capabilities.
- Support integration and pre-production validation activities in collaboration with customer environments and internal SMEs.
- 15+ years of experience in networking, infrastructure, or telecom engineering with a strong customer-facing consulting background.
- Deep expertise in routing and switching, network architecture, and large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical engagements and influence strategic customer decisions.
- Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience working in pre-sales, consulting engineering, or solution architecture roles in enterprise technology environments.
- Strong understanding of competitive networking landscapes and solution positioning.
- Ability to mentor technical teams and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical design decisions to ROI and customer outcomes.
