We are seeking an experienced enterprise IT business development professional who can define and execute growth strategies for AWS database services across Korea's most strategic and forward-thinking customers. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution to drive measurable business outcomes.

• Define and execute local go-to-market strategy for database products and services, including messaging, positioning, and campaign development tailored to the Korean market.
• Define and execute a Top Account Growth Strategy for AWS database services in Korea — identifying high-value accounts, building tailored engagement plans, and driving execution to achieve revenue targets.
• Design and implement Scale Sales Motions that enable the broader field sales team to accelerate database adoption across a wide set of accounts beyond the top tier.
• Establish and maintain tightly coupled communication channels with APJ regional teams and HQ global teams — ensuring Korea's database business priorities, market insights, and growth opportunities are continuously represented and aligned.
• Serve as the connective tissue between Sales Specialists, Specialist Solutions Architects and Partner teams, fostering a harmonious working model where BD strategy, sales execution, and technical depth operate in concert.
• Business development for a portfolio of 15+ AWS database services including relational, non-relational, in-memory, graph, time-series, ledger, and database migration services.
• Serve as a key voice-of-the-customer in discussions with global product and business development teams — influencing roadmap and GTM priorities based on Korea market needs.
• Plan and host database-focused events, workshops, and executive briefings for current and prospective customers and partners.

The AWS Korea Data team is part of the Korea Specialist organization, working closely with account teams, specialist SAs, and partner teams to drive database adoption across Korea. - 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, business development, marketing, or evangelism — with demonstrated success in the Korean market.8+ years of deep domain expertise in databases, analytics, data platform, or related technology areas.
- Strong cross-organizational communication skills with a track record of building effective, tightly coupled relationships with regional (APJ) and global (HQ) stakeholders.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- Business proficiency in both Korean and English languages (written and verbal).- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
