As a Virtual Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the growth of consumable medical and dental product lines through remote, consultative sales engagement. This position focuses on building and nurturing long-term customer relationships across clinics, distributors, and assigned accounts while identifying opportunities for revenue expansion. Working in a dynamic, digital-first sales environment, you will engage with customers via virtual channels to understand their needs and provide tailored product solutions. The role combines sales execution, customer relationship management, and commercial insight to support business growth across multiple product categories. You will collaborate closely with field sales teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer experiences and strong commercial outcomes. Accountabilities
- Conduct consultative virtual sales conversations with existing customers, prospects, and newly acquired accounts to generate demand and drive revenue growth.
- Manage customer inquiries, orders, and service requests efficiently while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Use CRM systems (such as Salesforce) to document customer interactions, track opportunities, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Support targeted sales campaigns, lead generation activities, and virtual promotional initiatives in collaboration with field sales teams.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across consumables, accessories, and related product portfolios.
- Prepare and deliver tailored quotations that highlight both technical value and commercial benefits.
- Negotiate and finalize sales agreements aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Provide high-quality after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationship development.
- Collaborate with internal field sales representatives and distributor partners to align on account strategies and execution.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and product developments to support informed customer conversations.
- Contribute to account planning activities and support the broader sales strategy where needed.
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline updates, and customer feedback within CRM systems.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, account management, marketing, or commercial roles.
- Background in commercial, dental, medical, or healthcare-related training or professional experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in virtual, digital, or remote sales environments.
- Experience handling customer inquiries, objections, and complaint resolution in a consultative manner.
- Strong interest in technical or medical products with the ability to understand product value and application.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-centric mindset.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and effective follow-up capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) is an advantage.
- Experience using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Native or near-native Spanish is required; good English proficiency is essential, and Italian is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
