This role is focused on shaping a high-quality employee experience in a fast-growing, global product development environment. You will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, helping build strong leadership practices, healthy team dynamics, and consistent people processes across the India organization. The role blends hands-on HR advisory work with the opportunity to influence scalable people programs across a distributed international team. You will contribute to performance management, employee relations, and culture-building initiatives that ensure employees can do their best work. Operating in a remote-first and high-growth context, you’ll help strengthen clarity, fairness, and consistency across the employee lifecycle. This is a highly people-centric role with both strategic and operational impact.

Accountabilities:

You will serve as a key People Partner for employees and managers in India, providing day-to-day coaching, HR guidance, and structured support across performance, development, and employee relations. You will help design and maintain a strong employee experience from onboarding through career growth while ensuring policies and practices remain compliant, consistent, and scalable across regions. You will also collaborate with global People teams to strengthen culture, improve leadership effectiveness, and enhance organizational practices.

  • Build trusted relationships with employees and managers through proactive coaching and HR support
  • Partner with leaders on performance management, feedback cycles, and improvement plans
  • Support employee relations cases with fairness, clarity, and adherence to local labor laws
  • Design and improve employee experience programs across onboarding, development, and engagement
  • Ensure HR processes, documentation, and policies meet India compliance and global standards
  • Collaborate with global People team on culture-building and scalable HR initiatives
  • Support leadership development by helping managers improve communication and team effectiveness
  • Requirements:

    You bring solid HR Business Partner or People Partner experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven or consulting environment. You understand India employment laws and HR compliance requirements deeply and are comfortable navigating complex employee situations with empathy and structure. You have experience working in global, distributed teams and are confident partnering with leaders across multiple time zones and cultures.

    • 4+ years of experience in HRBP or People Partner roles
    • Experience in technology, software, consulting, or product development organizations
    • Strong knowledge of India labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements
    • Experience working in global, cross-functional, distributed teams
    • Proven ability to support managers on performance management and employee relations
    • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to balance empathy with structured decision-making in people-related matters
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-growth, evolving organizational environment
