This role sits at the core of a global People Technology ecosystem, responsible for designing and maintaining the integrations that power seamless employee data flow across multiple enterprise systems. You will act as the technical architect behind how HR, payroll, finance, IT, and equity platforms connect and communicate. The position requires strong hands-on integration expertise combined with architectural thinking to ensure scalable, secure, and audit-ready data movement. You will work across APIs, middleware, and data transformation layers to enable reliable end-to-end employee lifecycle processes. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences data accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance across a complex global environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Finance, IT, and Payroll teams. The environment is fast-evolving, highly technical, and deeply focused on data integrity and system interoperability.
Accountabilities:
- Design end-to-end People Technology integration architecture connecting HRIS, payroll, finance, IT, equity, and analytics systems across the employee lifecycle.
- Own data mapping, schema design, transformation logic, and integration documentation to ensure consistent and governed data flow across platforms.
- Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical integration specifications and data contracts.
- Configure and manage APIs, webhooks, SFTP integrations, and middleware processes to enable secure and reliable data exchanges.
- Build and maintain analytics-ready data feeds into platforms such as Snowflake and financial planning tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor integration workflows, scheduled jobs, and data pipelines to proactively identify and resolve failures or inconsistencies.
- Perform root cause analysis on integration issues and implement preventive controls to avoid recurrence.
- Ensure audit readiness through ITGC compliance, change management tracking, and validation controls.
- Support organizational changes such as restructures by updating integration logic and validating downstream impacts.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of data across systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS integrations, People Technology systems, or payroll ecosystem integrations.
- Hands-on experience working with HR platforms such as Darwinbox, including APIs, data extracts, and integration frameworks.
- Strong expertise in designing data mappings, transformation rules, and schema validation logic across multiple systems.
- Experience integrating HR systems with payroll, finance, IT, and analytics platforms, including understanding of GL logic and cost allocation.
- Familiarity with ITGC controls, audit compliance requirements, and integration governance practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data flow and integration issues.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
