We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Manager (Thermal Power Plants, Steam Boilers, Flue Gas Cleaning), to join our Service Sales and Operations team and act as the point of contact, leading and coordinating Valmet business towards designated customers in Poland.


Preferred location for you to be based would be Warsaw, however other locations in Poland could be considered.

Your Responsibilities:

Your key priority is to act as the key point of contact for energy and pulp mill clients in Poland, ensuring customer satisfaction and high-quality service and cost competitive solutions, while also ensuring that the customer feedback is taken into Valmet’s offering development process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Selling improvement and maintenance projects, expert field services, workshop services, agreements and spare parts within Valmet scope, including all aspects of customer relationship and satisfaction management.

  • Leading sales projects in co-operation with internal stakeholders.

  • Support our customers by identifying their needs and responding quickly with the solutions to improve their processes and results.

  • Develop and execute appropriate Valmet Sales Strategy.

  • Develop sales, business, actions and marketing plans.

  • Coordinating and leading mill team activities towards specific customers.

  • Develop additional sales activities with operations.

Who Is Candidate We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a person who is open and able and willing to work with different kinds of people. You also have a self-managed working style with the ability to set priorities to yourself and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. You know how to create positive energy around you, and you show trust in others.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical background (Bachelor/ Master) in energy sector (Thermal Power Plants, Steam Boilers, Flue Gas Cleaning).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or project management positions

  • Strong understanding of Energy Industry.

  • Willingness to travel in Poland (30 to 60% depending on your location).

  • Passionate about Sales.

  • Good skills in communication and commercial discussions.

  • Awareness in contract law with hands-on experience negotiating complex project contracts.

  • High level of commitment and proactive approach.

  • Fluent spoken and written Polish and English, other languages are an asset.
