This role is a senior-level federal sales position focused on driving complex solution sales within civilian government agencies. You will operate as a trusted subject matter expert, leading strategic pursuits across high-value accounts and shaping opportunities from pipeline creation through to close. The position requires deep expertise in enterprise technology solutions, combined with a strong understanding of federal procurement environments and customer mission needs. You will collaborate closely with account managers and internal teams to position tailored solutions that address critical government challenges. Acting as both strategist and hands-on contributor, you will influence multi-stakeholder deals, often engaging at executive and C-level within federal organizations. This is a high-impact role suited for an experienced sales professional who excels in complex, consultative environments and thrives on delivering large-scale technology outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Drive pipeline creation and opportunity development across assigned civilian federal accounts, ensuring consistent growth and qualification of new leads.
- Lead complex sales pursuits from qualification to closure, leveraging deep product and market expertise to position differentiated solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with federal stakeholders, including executive-level decision-makers, to understand mission needs and align solutions.
- Collaborate with account managers and internal teams to support account strategy, forecasting, and execution of large-scale opportunities.
- Analyze competitor positioning and market dynamics to strengthen solution differentiation and win strategies.
- Provide input into account planning, revenue forecasting, and strategic sales direction for assigned territories or accounts.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and coordinate with external partners to enhance solution delivery and customer outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 8–12 years of advanced sales experience, including 2–3 years in specialized product or solution sales.
- Proven success in complex enterprise or federal sales environments with a strong track record of exceeding quota targets.
- Deep understanding of IT solutions, enterprise software, and services sales within regulated or government contexts.
- Strong consultative selling skills with experience engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and apply structured methodologies (e.g., account planning, forecasting).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in highly matrixed environments.
