Lead Formation Evaluation Geoscientist

Accountabilities:
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of formation evaluation solutions while ensuring technical rigor, cross-functional alignment, and successful project execution. You will:
- Support project execution through both individual contributions and collaborative team efforts across multidisciplinary environments
- Apply geoscience and engineering expertise to ensure technically and commercially sound outcomes for subsurface and reservoir projects
- Work within cross-functional teams to integrate geological, petrophysical, and engineering inputs into project design and delivery
- Apply systems engineering principles including requirements definition, system architecture, integration, and risk management during design phases
- Engage with customers during technical discussions, requirements gathering, and bid/proposal development
- Coordinate engineering and scientific expertise across project portfolios to ensure consistency and technical rigor
- Support the deployment of effective teams from project initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
- Ensure availability and coordination of necessary technical skills and expertise across formation evaluation disciplines
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence across all deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in geoscience and formation evaluation, particularly petrophysics
- Experience in Wireline and/or Logging While Drilling (LWD) formation evaluation is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of subsurface workflows, reservoir characterization, and petrophysical analysis
- Familiarity with systems engineering concepts such as requirements definition and integration is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple technical challenges simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including customer-facing interactions
- Proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities in cross-functional environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a dynamic setting
