This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead AI Security Architect based in the United States.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned security architect to shape how enterprises securely adopt and govern next-generation AI technologies. In this role, you will design and implement advanced security architectures that enable organizations to safely deploy generative AI tools, LLM-enabled applications, and enterprise AI platforms at scale. You will work at the intersection of security engineering, AI governance, and enterprise architecture, helping clients balance rapid innovation with robust risk mitigation. Operating in a fully remote, fast-paced consulting environment, you will advise executive stakeholders, lead implementation engagements, and define best practices for AI security across diverse industries. The role combines strategic advisory with hands-on technical execution, requiring deep expertise in identity, cloud, SaaS security, and AI risk management. You will play a pivotal role in building scalable, secure AI ecosystems that empower organizations to innovate responsibly.
Accountabilities
- Assess client security, identity, cloud, SaaS, and data architectures to identify risks and define best-in-class AI security strategies.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security controls for AI platforms, including SSO, SCIM, RBAC, MFA, conditional access, audit logging, DLP, retention policies, and admin governance models.
- Evaluate and secure AI platform capabilities such as assistants, agents, connectors, plugins, code execution, file uploads, and external integrations.
- Lead end-to-end AI security implementation projects, including identity integration, access controls, data protection, monitoring, and incident response workflows.
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of enterprise AI tools and platforms, translating findings into actionable security and governance recommendations.
- Secure integrations between AI systems and enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Snowflake, Databricks, and Salesforce.
- Develop threat models and risk assessments for AI systems, identifying vulnerabilities such as prompt injection, data leakage, and insecure output handling.
- Integrate security telemetry into SIEM/SOAR platforms and enhance detection, monitoring, and response capabilities across AI-enabled environments.
- Advise executive stakeholders on secure AI adoption strategies that balance innovation, compliance, and operational risk.
- Contribute to internal AI security practice development, business development initiatives, and thought leadership activities.
