This role sits at the intersection of physical security engineering, enterprise architecture, and complex project delivery. You will be responsible for designing and managing end-to-end physical security systems that protect corporate environments, personnel, and critical assets at scale. Acting as both architect and delivery lead, you will shape the strategy, deployment, and lifecycle of advanced security platforms, with a strong focus on integrated, technology-driven solutions. The position involves working across multiple stakeholders, including IT, networking, workplace teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless implementation. You will lead medium to high-complexity projects, balancing technical depth with execution discipline. This is a highly visible role where your work directly strengthens organizational safety, resilience, and operational continuity across diverse environments.
Accountabilities:
Lead the strategy, architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security systems, ensuring scalable and resilient solutions across multiple sites. Design and optimize integrated security ecosystems including access control, video management, intercoms, visitor systems, and AI-driven analytics platforms, with emphasis on Genetec-based environments.
- Define and enforce enterprise standards for system design, configuration, installation, maintenance, and lifecycle governance
- Architect and implement scalable physical security solutions, identifying risks, dependencies, and performance constraints
- Lead end-to-end delivery of security projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and organizational priorities
- Oversee system integration across hardware, software, and network environments to ensure reliability and performance
- Develop repeatable deployment frameworks, playbooks, and documentation to standardize global implementations
- Manage vendors and integrators, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to technical and operational standards
- Partner with IT, networking, workplace, and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure readiness and integration success
- Provide advanced technical leadership and Tier 3 support for complex system issues and optimization efforts
- Lead operational handoffs to support and administration teams to ensure long-term system sustainability
- Communicate program status, risks, and strategic updates to stakeholders and leadership teams
Requirements:
This role requires deep expertise in enterprise physical security systems, strong technical architecture capability, and proven project management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Candidates should be comfortable bridging technical execution and business needs while leading vendors and cross-functional teams.
- 7+ years of experience managing enterprise physical security systems and infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience with physical security platforms such as Genetec, access control, and video management systems
- Solid understanding of network architecture, protocols, and system integration principles
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects from design through deployment
- Experience working with vendors, integrators, and cross-functional enterprise teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in complex environments
- Excellent communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and delivery orientation
- Project management experience in enterprise-scale or infrastructure-heavy environments
- Certifications such as PSP or Genetec Certified Professional are a plus
