Key Responsibilities
As a Workday Workday Procure to Pay (P2P) Lead your primary responsibilities may include:
Lead the implementation Procurement modules, including sourcing, contract lifecycle management (CLM), procurement, supplier accounts, procurement contracts and expenses.
Lead design workshops to gather requirements, configure the Workday solution and support testing and deployment.
Provide expertise in business process design for finance and procurement transformation programs.
Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices
Demonstrate design options through the use of prototyping
Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies
Support and drive data migration, reporting, integrations, and change management activities during Workday projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical architects, developers, and change leads.
Act as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot issues, provide system support, and optimize business performance post-implementation.
Contribute to business development and new sales opportunities, including proposals, demos, and client presentations.
Job Qualifications
Here’s what you need:
3+ years of experience working with Workday Procurement and/or Financials modules.
Strong understanding of procurement processes
Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, security, and reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to engage stakeholders at various levels and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Workday Procure to Pay certification
Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% (if required)
Preferred Qualifications and experience
Workday certification in Financials or Strategic Sourcing.
Experience in full-cycle Workday implementations, preferably in a consulting environment.
Experience integrating Workday with third-party systems (ERP, banking, CRM, etc.).
Familiarity with Agile delivery and project management frameworks.
Background in industries such as Government, Health, Financial Services, or Higher Education.
Bonus points if:
Proficiency in multiple business processes such as PTP, OTC, GL, FA, Budgeting, Cash Management, etc…
Experience leading global and/or LE Workday engagements.
Thrive in a diverse, fast paced environment.
Other leading Cloud based SaaS financial application implementation experience: (Coupa, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, Ariba)
An advanced degree in a specialization relevant to this role.
