Position Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Commodity Management: Develop and execute comprehensive commodity strategies for assigned technologies (including PCB sub-tier laminates) through cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and business units.
- Supplier Relationship & Performance Management: Build and maintain executive-level relationships, conducting data-driven Supplier Business Reviews (SBRs) to monitor performance across cost, quality, technology, and sustainability.
- Operational Excellence: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including capacity planning, material delivery, inventory lifecycle management, and return-to-vendor (RTV) processes.
- Negotiation & RFQ Leadership: Lead quarterly cost reduction initiatives, manage the RFQ process, validate supplier data, and execute award splits to ensure maximum cost competitiveness.
- Contract Negotiation & Legal Compliance: Partner with the legal team to negotiate and finalize Master Purchase Agreements (MPA), Statements of Work (SOW), and other binding legal contracts.
- Market Intelligence & Risk Mitigation: Track industry trends and price fluctuations to produce data-driven sensing reports and proactively mitigate geopolitical or supply chain disruption risks.
- Supply Chain Resiliency: Lead the qualification and ramp-up of alternate non-China manufacturing sites to ensure supply chain continuity and resiliency.
- Sustainability Compliance: Ensure supplier adherence to Cisco and industry sustainability standards (GHG, Responsible Minerals, RBA) and drive the closure of open action items.
- Multi-Sourcing & Value Engineering: Identify and execute multi-sourcing opportunities to enhance supply flexibility and cost competitiveness through engineering collaboration.
- Financial Liability Management: Document and report open financial liabilities—including Advance Purchases, Risk Buys, and Last-time Buys—to Finance, ensuring strict process compliance.
- Lead-time Optimization: Drive lead-time reduction initiatives with suppliers to minimize financial exposure and improve operational performance metrics.
- Strategic Projects & Reporting: Lead organizational initiatives, and draft executive-level supplier white papers as required by leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in PCB commodity sub-tier material laminate management, supply chain operations, business, supplier management.
- Experience evaluating market trends of PCB and laminate, supplier data, and ability to translate to business outcomes.

- Extensive business strategy and implementation knowledge
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
- Relevant certifications contract management, or supply chain
- Thorough understanding of commodity markets, price fluctuations, and factors influencing market dynamics
