As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing Intel's supply chain strategy and tactical processes to ensure operational excellence and innovation.
You will play a critical role in shaping Intel's supply chain roadmap by defining next-generation methodology capabilities, exploring and benchmarking emerging technologies, and addressing gaps between manufacturing capabilities and market demands.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support management and senior leadership in implementing alternate/localize both OEM and Non OEM part's project, process and quality improvements across Intel's Backend supply chain.
2. Collaborate with supply chain leads to implement solutions based on supply-demand trends and root cause analysis findings.
3. Drive supplier selection processes for new business in partnership with commodity managers and technical quality partners from TD/Factory.
4. Perform alternate sourcing risk mitigation for single-sourced commodities.
5. Establish control standards, determine KPIs, and monitor performance against targets to address supply chain issues.
6. Drive supplier process window validation activities and improvements for quality, reliability, yield, and cost.
7. Manage tool's part change control to ensure smooth transitions without technical issues or production interruptions.
8. Manage end to end supply chain strategic program e.g. EOL mitigation program, supply demand gaps & lead time risk.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in supply chain or HVM environments.
3. Strong data analysis, structured problem-solving, and design of experiments capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2 or more years of experience.
2. Expertise in manufacturing processes and the interaction of parts with tools and processes.
3. Experience in tool's part project management and demonstrating ability to lead VF project/program.
4. Experience in supplier management and demonstrating negotiation, strategic thinking skill.
