Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Master Scheduler to join them. You will report to the Master Scheduling Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

To be considered for Master Scheduler, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years related experience, or an associate’s degree with 5 years of related experience. 

  • Experience working in team environment, while also working independently with minimal supervision

  • Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and report/react to trends.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

  • Strong Excel skills include ability to write advance formulas, create pivot tables and charts is preferred.

  • Experience with scheduling in an ERP environment is preferred

As a Master Scheduler, you will:

  • Complete regular schedule entry of new and amended order managed in a workflow as entered by Sales via sales orders

  • Creation and sizing of production orders with focus on start and end dates supporting MRP

  • Regular interaction with Sales Associates relative to order entry, order updates of customer requirements as it relates to scheduling

  • Required use LN session pertains to production order, inventory management, and shipments

  • Creation of multiple Excel spreadsheets relative to revenue recognition categorization of shipments by sector and program

  • Regular interaction with Engineering functions to define technical data output and managing the completion of the outputs

  • Record keeping of confidential sales and shipment data

  • Regular interaction with intercompany personal in scheduling the manufacture of items supporting Blacksburg North manufacturing

  • Interacting with other production control support functions relative to scheduling changes and updates

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $50,000.00–$85,000.00 Annually
