Accountabilities

  • Manage end-to-end transportation of IT hardware, including servers, racks, and data center equipment across domestic European routes, international inbound shipments (notably from Asia), outbound freight, and logistics flows involving Israel.
  • Coordinate air and ocean freight operations, including carrier selection, booking, scheduling, and tracking to ensure timely, secure, and damage-free deliveries.
  • Oversee RMA and reverse logistics processes, ensuring accurate coordination with vendors, carriers, and internal teams for equipment returns and replacements.
  • Maintain full visibility of all active shipments and proactively resolve transit issues, delays, and exceptions across multiple logistics lanes.
  • Ensure accurate in-transit inventory tracking, chain-of-custody documentation, and complete shipment records within logistics management systems.
  • Manage customs documentation and clearance processes for cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance with EU and international trade regulations.
  • Work closely with data center and operations teams to support just-in-time delivery, staging, and deployment of hardware.
  • Monitor logistics costs, process invoices, manage vendor payments, and identify opportunities for cost optimization across transportation activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align logistics execution with infrastructure deployment schedules and business priorities.
  • Develop contingency plans and improve routing strategies to ensure continuity, efficiency, and resilience of logistics operations.
  • Track and report on logistics KPIs, supporting continuous improvement through data-driven insights and process optimization.
  • Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation, freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations, ideally within technology, hardware, or data center environments.
    • Proven experience managing international and European freight operations, including air freight, ocean freight, LTL/FTL, and multimodal transport.
    • Strong knowledge of EU customs regulations, import/export processes, and cross-border trade compliance requirements.
    • Experience handling high-value or sensitive hardware shipments such as servers, racks, or IT infrastructure equipment.
    • Familiarity with RMA and reverse logistics workflows.
    • Experience using logistics systems such as TMS platforms, Jira, or similar tools for shipment tracking and documentation.
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and operational execution.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in international and cross-functional environments.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced, remote-friendly setting.
    • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
    • Based in Europe with eligibility to work in the EU; familiarity with logistics operations involving Asia (especially Taiwan) and Israel is a strong plus.
