This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations and enterprise systems, focused on designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA solutions that power complex production environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and external system integrators to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and operational visibility. The role spans multiple manufacturing domains, including production planning, shop floor execution, quality management, and plant maintenance, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end process integration. You will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and enabling users to fully adopt SAP capabilities across the organization. Operating in a global, cross-functional environment, you will contribute to the modernization of core manufacturing systems that directly impact production performance. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role suited for someone who combines deep SAP expertise with a strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather manufacturing requirements and translate them into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Configure, customize, and support SAP modules across Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), and related manufacturing functions.
  • Partner with external system integrators and vendors to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of SAP solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support to drive adoption and effective use of SAP systems.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure stability and reliability of SAP environments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending system or workflow enhancements.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA in manufacturing-related modules (PP, PM, QM, MM, WM).
    • Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes, including production planning, shop floor control, quality management, and maintenance operations.
    • Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional SAP configurations and solutions.
    • Experience working in cross-functional, project-based environments with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and process issues.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical SAP concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables effectively.
    • SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
