The Budapest team, representing over 95% of our global organization, is central to supporting finance operations across multiple locations.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President to lead complex financial controlling activities within the Global Support Services Controllership. This role focuses on transitioning and stabilizing work from various global locations, requiring deep technical accounting expertise and strong transition management skills. You will play a key leadership role in global non-compensation expense accounting, process ownership, and people leadership, managing a team and driving operational improvements.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Technical Accounting Expertise:

  • Lead global non-compensation expense accounting with precision and compliance.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Transition Management:

  • Oversee the smooth transfer of activities from multiple global locations.

  • Ensure operational stability during and after transition phases.

Process Ownership and Improvement:

  • Own and enhance global accounting processes across multiple locations.

  • Develop detailed process documentation for new functions swiftly.

  • Drive automation, AI-enabled enhancements, and workflow optimization.

Leadership and People Management:

  • Inspire and mentor a team, fostering clarity, accountability, and development.

  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage proactively with global stakeholders and internal clients.

  • Deliver clear and consistent status reports to leadership on progress and risks.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead Month End Close activities, ensuring seamless account sign-off and proactive issue resolution.

  • Support consistent performance during challenging cycles.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Over 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting.

  • Proven experience in leading transitions or migrations across locations.

  • Ability to quickly understand new functions and create robust process documentation.

  • Demonstrated leadership in Month End Close processes.

  • Familiarity with automation, AI solutions, and workflow tools.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong reporting discipline.

  • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills, comfortable in complex environments.
