Accountabilities

  • Own the definition, governance, standardization, and ongoing management of operational performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
  • Ensure consistent application of metric definitions and reporting standards across dashboards, scorecards, reports, and stakeholder deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage reporting schedules, distribution processes, documentation standards, and version control protocols.
  • Produce executive-level dashboards, performance summaries, scorecards, and reporting packages that provide clear visibility into operational performance.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of service level agreement (SLA) reporting, performance guarantee assessments, and operational performance evaluations.
  • Translate complex operational results into concise narratives, actionable recommendations, and strategic insights for leadership and client audiences.
  • Support regulatory, accreditation, audit, and client reporting requirements by ensuring accurate and timely performance-related deliverables.
  • Partner with analytics and data teams to ensure curated data is effectively translated into meaningful, decision-ready reporting outputs.
  • Drive reporting automation, standardization, and process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and reporting quality.
  • Establish quality assurance processes and review checkpoints to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all reporting deliverables.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, or a related field.
    • 6–10+ years of experience in healthcare performance reporting, operational reporting, performance management, or related analytical functions.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare payer, health insurance, or third-party administrator (TPA) operations, including claims processing, member services, utilization management, and provider operations.
    • Advanced proficiency with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.
    • Proven ability to develop executive-level reporting and effectively communicate performance results to leadership teams and external stakeholders.
    • Experience translating operational data into meaningful business insights, recommendations, and performance improvement opportunities.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple reporting priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams while maintaining strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
    • Preferred experience within self-funded or fully funded insurance environments, employee benefits administration, or third-party administrator organizations.
    • Experience supporting SLA reporting, performance guarantees, and contractual performance measurement initiatives is highly desirable.
