As a Senior Business Analyst in Financial Services, you will play a strategic role in identifying and delivering high-impact automation opportunities within large-scale banking and financial environments. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex business challenges into scalable automation solutions that generate measurable value. This role goes beyond traditional analysis, focusing on transformation, process optimization, and enterprise-wide efficiency improvements. You will work closely with solution architects, developers, and business leaders to shape automation strategies and ensure successful implementation. Operating in a fast-paced, global environment, you will influence decision-making, drive adoption of automation initiatives, and contribute to building reusable best practices across enterprise clients. Accountabilities
- Identify, assess, and prioritize high-value automation opportunities aligned with enterprise and financial services business objectives.
- Define business cases for automation initiatives, including ROI, cost savings, efficiency gains, risk reduction, and quality improvements.
- Lead end-to-end process analysis, including As-Is and To-Be process mapping for complex, cross-functional workflows.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to shape scalable automation solutions and ensure architectural alignment.
- Act as a key advisor to senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and guiding automation strategy discussions.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, ensuring completeness, scalability, and implementation readiness.
- Support solution design, testing, and deployment phases in collaboration with engineering and delivery teams.
- Drive change management strategies to support automation adoption and organizational readiness.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities across automation initiatives and manage them proactively.
- Contribute to reusable frameworks, best practices, and knowledge assets to improve automation maturity across the organization.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations consulting, or automation-focused roles.
- Strong experience within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives in global environments.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technical teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA or similar collaboration platforms.
- Solid understanding of process modeling, requirements gathering, and solution design methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with automation technologies or platforms such as UiPath is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of change management principles and adoption strategies is highly valued.
