Position Description:

Designs and programs highly functional and scalable software applications, using Java, Angular, Node, GraphQL, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Deploys and supports large-scale solutions and performs testing and automation to deliver, measure, and iterate on products and features, using Test Driven Development (TDD) and DevSecOps. Identifies complex systems and associated data and provides a full stack development and solutions for customers. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex and multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) maintaining design, development, and delivery of customer-facing financial applications supporting online transaction processing, using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, and monitoring solutions (Splunk and Datadog).
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) maintaining design, development, and delivery of customer-facing financial applications supporting online transaction processing, using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, and monitoring solutions (Splunk and Datadog).
