Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and distributed services that support high-performance applications.
  • Build production-grade software solutions with a strong focus on reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, technical planning, and system design decisions across engineering initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business-critical features.
  • Optimize system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Participate in code reviews, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement efforts across development teams.
  • Support the evolution of frameworks, services, and cloud-based infrastructure to enable future growth.
  • Requirements:

    • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development environments.
    • Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java with experience building scalable APIs and backend services.
    • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native development principles.
    • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and system design capabilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Experience delivering software solutions in Agile development environments.
    • Exposure to Golang, TypeScript, data platforms, analytics systems, or high-growth SaaS environments is considered a plus.
