We are looking for Senior Engineering Managers to join our Data Platform organisation. We have open roles across multiple platform teams, including:
Data Compliance – focusing on data privacy, governance, and trusted data usage
Build & Publish – focusing on tooling and capabilities for data ingestion, transformation, and publishing
In these roles, you will lead engineering teams working on critical platform capabilities, while creating healthy, high-performing teams and ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, with accountability for engagement, growth, and overall team health
Create strong team environments with psychological safety, sustainable workload, and inclusive ways of working
Drive core people processes such as performance management, development planning, and recognition
Support career development through structured feedback, coaching, and growth conversations
Own the reliability and predictability of team delivery and translate priorities into executable work
Partner with Product Managers and Lead Engineers to turn strategy into clear execution plans and backlog outcomes
Balance delivery with engineering fundamentals such as stability, security, maintainability, and technical debt
Manage team capacity and remove organisational friction to support sustainable delivery
Use insights and metrics to support transparency and informed decisions
The Data Office builds and runs The LEGO Group’s central Data Platform and acts as a Centre of Excellence for data, governance, and AI.
You will work in a shared leadership model where Product Managers focus on strategy and roadmap, Lead Engineers provide technical leadership, and Senior Engineering Managers are accountable for people leadership, execution, and delivery.
An experienced engineering leader with a strong track record of leading teams in complex technology environments and driving execution through others
Strong delivery and execution experience in product or platform environments
Ability to balance people leadership with operational discipline
Experience collaborating with Product Managers and technical leaders
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative leadership style and genuine interest in helping teams succeed
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
