Business Tech Analyst (Produtos Financeiros)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Tech Analyst (Produtos Financeiros) based in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and payments infrastructure, supporting critical integrations within a complex retail and payment ecosystem. You will be responsible for analyzing, structuring, and refining technical requirements related to payment flows, ensuring seamless integration between POS systems, payment terminals, and point-of-sale solutions. The position requires strong analytical thinking and a hands-on approach to diagnosing operational issues, improving system reliability, and supporting scalable transaction architectures. You will also contribute to observability strategies, ensuring visibility into system performance and transactional behavior. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate complex payment processes into clear technical specifications and incremental delivery plans. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented role where precision and problem-solving directly impact customer transactions and business continuity.

Accountabilities:

  • Analyze, refine, and translate technical and business requirements related to payment systems, ensuring effective integration between POS, TEF, payment terminals, and gateways.
  • Support the implementation and validation of payment device integrations, including PinPad, SmartPOS, and POS terminals within transactional ecosystems.
  • Investigate operational issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify, document, and resolve system and payment flow incidents.
  • Contribute to the definition and monitoring of key performance indicators and observability strategies for payment and transaction systems.
  • Break down complex technical demands into incremental and executable delivery plans, supporting agile development cycles.
  • Maintain clear and structured technical documentation and ensure effective asynchronous communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Support continuous improvement of payment flows, system stability, and operational efficiency across the ecosystem.
  • Requirements

    • Solid experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst in technology-driven environments.
    • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including TEF flows, POS systems, payment terminals, and transaction processing architectures.
    • Experience working with complex, ambiguous, or evolving technical and business scenarios, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to analyze systems end-to-end, identifying dependencies, failures, and improvement opportunities.
    • Strong communication skills to translate technical complexity into clear documentation and stakeholder alignment.
    • Experience working in agile environments with iterative delivery practices.
    • Analytical thinking and ability to structure investigations and RCA processes effectively.
    • Familiarity with observability, telemetry, or monitoring concepts is a plus.
