This role sits at the intersection of product engineering, scalability, and intelligent automation, contributing to a platform designed to optimize and automate complex enterprise workflows. You will work on both web and desktop applications with a strong emphasis on performance, maintainability, and data-driven systems.   • Design, build, and maintain scalable fullstack features across web and desktop applications using Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Develop clean, efficient, and testable backend code, ensuring high reliability and maintainability across the platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, translate business needs into engineering solutions, and deliver production-ready features.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and system improvements to enhance overall code quality and platform performance.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making for scalable system design.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to improving engineering practices, documentation, and team workflows.
  • Explore and integrate AI/LLM-based tools and workflows to improve development efficiency and product capabilities.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails in production environments.
    • Strong frontend skills with JavaScript and experience using Hotwire or similar modern frontend approaches.
    • Solid understanding of software engineering principles including OOP, testing methodologies, and system design.
    • Experience building and maintaining scalable, test-driven applications in fast-paced environments.
    • Familiarity with big data systems such as ClickHouse or Apache Cassandra is a plus.
    • Exposure to AI/ML concepts or LLM-based development workflows is highly valued.
    • Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate effectively in remote, distributed teams.
    • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to evaluate trade-offs across performance, security, and maintainability.
