Engineer – Metallurgist
Job Purpose: Sourcing Activities & Work Deployment
Accountability /Objectives
- RFQ Review and sending the RFQ with 3 supplier partners
- Arrange the Technical Feasibility Review with Engineering
- Receiving the Quote & preparing the price comparison
- Negotiate the price along with Sourcing Head
- Releasing Letter of Indent with respective supplier
- Receive and reviewing the Supply Timing Plan
- Follow up for the Samples
- Shipment coordination with local and import vendors
- Collecting the Product inspection reports and Level 3 PPAP Documents with Supplier Partner
- Coordinate with Quality team to Inspect the Samples
- Send the reports with Supplier partner and follow up with corrective Action if any,
- Share the Feedback along with Sales team,
Key responsibilities
- Releasing new product purchase orders. Initiation of new business conversion orders and having a track on performance for the initial 3 months of the project.
- Identify the new Potential vendors based on Stanley Quality and supply requirements
- Training and Development the Supplier partner as per the IATF/ISO Requirement’s
- Source, Develop, Train the vendors based on our requirement
- Finding the Opportunities of cost savings
- Localization & Resourcing Projects
- Maintaining the Vendors for on time delivery & Quality
Technical Skills & Professional Aptitudes
Knowledge on Excel, Power point & SAP
Technical Skill – Basic Engineering Knowledge- Fastner’s knowledge will be preferable
Experience
2 to 3 Years Experience in sourcing in Fasteners industries & basic Supply chain Knowledge
