Employee Success Specialist
The Experience
The ES People and Payroll Specialist is a member of a globally diverse Employee Success (ES) People Services team, supporting geographically dispersed employees through expert guidance on payroll, benefits, HR policy, and employee data. This role can be based in Atlanta, GA or Indianapolis, Indiana, and partners closely with employees and managers across the organization to deliver a seamless, high-quality HR experience using Salesforce technology.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Provide support to employees and managers via our case management system, responding to inquiries on benefits, time off, compensation, HR policy, and employee data, and ensuring all cases are resolved accurately and on time.
Maintain and improve the HR knowledge base by creating and updating self-service articles to close knowledge gaps and keep content current for employees and managers.
Process employee data corrections and transactions in Workday, including third-party deductions such as court orders and 401(k) contributions, and support end-to-end payroll cycles including year-end activities and audits.
Partner cross-functionally to identify process inefficiencies, participate in User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements, and contribute to projects that modernize ES People Services processes.
You're Our Person If...
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, HR, or a shared services environment.
You have experience supporting end-to-end payroll cycles, including inputting and validating employee data changes, supporting payroll legislation compliance, and assisting with internal and external payroll audits.
You have experience working in a case management system and processing transactions in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) such as Workday Human Capital Management (HCM).
You are able to maintain confidentiality, diagnose data or process issues, and lead resolution efforts through clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Even Better If...
You have prior experience with Workday HCM specifically.
You have experience in an HR shared services organization.
You have familiarity with third-party payroll integrations or multi-state payroll processing.
