About the role

The Marketing Manager, ASEAN is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies that drive business growth, market penetration, customer engagement, and brand awareness across Southeast Asia. Working closely with sales teams, distributors, and cross-functional stakeholders, the role delivers impactful marketing programs, market insights, and sales enablement initiatives that support commercial objectives and strengthen the company's position within the healthcare and medical technology industry.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies and initiatives to drive business growth, market penetration, and customer engagement across ASEAN.

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, promotional campaigns, and strategic marketing programs in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.

  • Partner with sales teams and distributors to support demand generation, sales enablement, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, customer insights, industry trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and inform business decisions.

  • Develop and localize marketing content, sales tools, digital assets, and customer-facing materials to support commercial objectives.

  • Plan and manage regional events, conferences, webinars, workshops, and customer education programs to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

  • Monitor marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Manage marketing budgets, external vendors, and agency partners to ensure effective and efficient execution of marketing activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies, messaging, branding, and business priorities.

  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable compliance requirements.

  • Mentor and support team members where applicable, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

    Required/Preferred Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Communications, or a related discipline.

    • 5–8 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, diagnostics, or related industries.

    • Strong experience in commercial marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and sales enablement.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across different countries and cultures.

    • Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently while effectively influencing stakeholders in a matrix environment.
