Global Brand & Marketing Director
As Global Brand & Marketing Director you will lead Crytek’s global marketing function across brand, creative, performance, and lifecycle, reporting to the Chief Publishing Officer. You will own how Hunt: Showdown 1896 and unannounced projects are positioned, launched, and grown in market.
You will lead the marketing team and build the creative engine and operating model that drive how Crytek’s games meet their players — campaigns with craft and conviction that earn attention, sustain communities, and translate brand ambition into commercial outcomes. You will partner with publishing leadership to keep marketing, communications, and product working as one connected system.
This role demands creative judgement, marketing craft, and the rigor to drive brand ambition into measurable acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities

Define Crytek’s global marketing strategy across brand, creative, paid media, and CRM

Lead global positioning and creative direction for Hunt: Showdown 1896 and unannounced projects across all channels

Own the marketing P&L, channel mix, and KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention curves), and report performance to the CPO

Lead a high-performing in-house creative engine: art direction, video, design, and campaign operations capable of supporting the portfolio and surge launches

Concentrate creative, paid media, and CRM firepower during major launch windows

Partner with publishing product leadership to translate product strategy into season plans, beats, and campaigns

Champion AI fluency across research, analytics, and operational workflows, using it to amplify the work, so the teams' time goes to creative judgement and taste.

Mentor and grow the marketing team, raising the bar on craft, speed, and accountability
Requirements

10+ years of marketing leadership across brand, performance, and CRM, with at least 5 in the video games industry

Proven success leading global launches and live service marketing for multi-product portfolios

Strong commercial fluency: CAC / LTV management, paid channel optimization, lifecycle and retention economics

Experience building and leading multidisciplinary creative teams (art, video, design, copy)

Track record using player insights, segmentation, and AI tooling to sharpen creative and media decisions

Excellent communication skills in English and ability to operate across matrixed, global organizations

Passion for video games and a deep understanding of player communities

Willingness to relocate to Frankfurt am Main, Germany
