Senior Technical Program Manager

This role sits at the center of large-scale engineering execution, driving complex, cross-functional programs that power mission-critical financial systems and data platforms. You will lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact technical initiatives spanning product, engineering, and data governance domains. The position requires strong ownership of program strategy, dependency management, and execution excellence in fast-paced agile environments. You will partner closely with engineering leaders, product managers, and designers to translate technical vision into structured, scalable delivery plans. A key focus of the role is strengthening data governance and data privacy capabilities across the organization. You will also play a critical part in improving operational maturity through automation and AI-enabled workflows. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on platform reliability, compliance, and engineering effectiveness.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead the execution of complex, multi-team technical programs spanning software development, data systems, and governance initiatives, ensuring alignment from concept through delivery. You will drive clarity across engineering, product, and cross-functional stakeholders while managing dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technical programs across engineering, product, and data domains, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals
- Partner with engineering, product, design, and data teams to define scope, requirements, architecture direction, and delivery milestones
- Drive Data Governance and Data Privacy initiatives, including policy implementation, data lifecycle management, and compliance-related programs
- Manage cross-team dependencies, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution
- Establish clear program communication, including executive updates, status reporting, and escalation management
- Continuously improve program delivery processes, leveraging AI tools to enhance automation, efficiency, and decision-making
- Mentor junior program managers and contribute to the development of program management best practices across the organization
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or similar roles in software development environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies (Kanban), and modern architectures such as microservices and cloud-native systems
- Proven experience with Data Governance and Data Privacy programs, including data retention, compliance, and data subject request processes
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into program management workflows to improve efficiency and decision-making
- Strong ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and cross-functional delivery in fast-moving environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, or ITIL are preferred
- Competitive base salary ranging from $136,000 to $209,000, depending on location and experience
