What You’ll Do
As a Senior Product Manager, you will build and evolve platforms that support teacher professional learning across Singapore’s education system — from early-stage AI-native learning experiences to large-scale platforms used by thousands of educators. You will work across products at different stages of maturity — from exploratory pilots (e.g. AI-enabled learning tools, knowledge systems) to core platforms embedded in daily teacher workflows (e.g. LMS, CMS, knowledge repositories).

You will:
Co-own the Vision and Roadmap
Shape the long-term direction of teacher professional learning platforms — from content discovery and knowledge management to collaborative learning and classroom practice improvement.
Work closely with MOE HQ divisions, schools, and partner agencies to:

  • Define success in terms of teacher growth, classroom impact, and time saved
  • Align product direction with Academy of Singapore Teachers and professional learning outcomes for educators
  • Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, scalable educator tools

Turn Learning into Impact
Identify the real problems beneath the brief — especially those tied to:

  • Time-to-feedback for teachers
  • Discoverability of high-quality teaching resources
  • Translation of learning into classroom practice

For early-stage products:

  • Prototype AI-enabled learning experiences (e.g. semantic search, RAG copilots, video annotation)
  • Validate what actually improves teacher learning and behaviour change

For mature platforms:

  • Improve end-to-end educator journeys (e.g. search → learn → apply → reflect) R
  • Reduce friction in workflows (e.g. content discovery, compliance learning, peer sharing)
  • Scale systems across schools and divisions

Build Alignment Across a Complex System
Work across:

  • Policy (HQ divisions, curriculum planners)
  •  Operations (schools, teacher networks, AST)
  •  Engineering & design teams
  •  Senior leadership (DDX, CIO, etc.)

Bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces so that:

  • Teacher needs, policy goals, and technical constraints align
  •  Cross-agency initiatives (e.g. LEARN, MOE’s learning system) move toward shared outcomes, not fragmented systems

Shape the Future of Teacher Learning
Help define what “good” looks like for AI-enabled professional learning:

  • Push for evidence-based product decisions (e.g. measuring reduction in search time, improvement in learning uptake)
  •  Introduce new paradigms (e.g. just-in-time learning, knowledge graphs, AI copilots for teaching)
  •  Raise the bar on usability, relevance, and real classroom impact

We Need Someone Who Can
Build Products That Improve Teaching Practice
Design systems that go beyond content delivery to:

  • Help teachers find the right knowledge quickly
  •  Support application in classroom contexts
  •  Enable collaborative learning and reflection at scale

Operate Across 0→1 and 1→100

  •  Explore and validate new ideas (e.g. AI copilots, semantic search, adaptive learning systems)
  •  Strengthen and scale existing platforms used by thousands of educators
  •  Move fluidly between experimentation and system-level rollout

Navigate Government Complexity

  • Work across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
  •  Balance policy constraints, procurement realities, and product principles
  •  Find creative ways to move forward without losing momentum

Communicate and Influence

  •  Articulate a clear product vision for teacher learning
  •  Align stakeholders around shared outcomes (not just features)
  •  Influence decisions across HQ, schools, and partner agencies

Be Hands-On and Execution-Driven

  •  Work closely with engineers and designers to ship real products
  •  Prototype solutions independently when needed (e.g. using AI tools, lightweight stacks)
  •  Drive projects from idea → pilot → scale

You Will Likely Be Someone Who Has

  • 5–8+ years of product management or equivalent experience
  •  Experience building user-facing platforms where experience quality matters
  •  Experience with AI/LLM-enabled products, search systems, or knowledge platforms (strong plus)
  •  Strong ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
  •  Experience working with multiple stakeholders in complex organisations

Public sector or education experience is not required — but strong candidates can quickly
understand:

  •  Teacher workflows and constraints
  •  The importance of classroom impact, not just platform usage
