Sr. Product Manager - Documents

This role owns the vision and execution of a mission-critical document generation and management platform that powers core commercial workflows such as invoices, estimates, contracts, receipts, and payments. You will shape how businesses create, automate, and manage documents across their entire lifecycle, from creation to signature and payment. The role sits at the intersection of product design, workflow automation, and financial operations, with direct impact on user conversion and business efficiency. You will define intuitive, AI-assisted document experiences that simplify complex workflows for non-technical users while supporting advanced use cases for power users. This is a high-impact product leadership role with deep influence across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. You will also help drive the evolution of native e-signature capabilities, reducing reliance on external tools. Accountabilities:
Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for document creation, automation, and lifecycle management, ensuring seamless experiences across invoices, estimates, receipts, and contracts.
- Define and evolve AI-powered document builder capabilities, including templates, drag-and-drop creation, and intelligent content generation.
- Own the full commercial document lifecycle, including creation, approvals, conversions (estimates to invoices), payments, and receipts.
- Drive the development of native e-signature functionality, including multi-party signing, audit trails, and compliance-ready workflows.
- Design and optimize payment-linked document experiences to improve conversion, usability, and transaction success rates.
- Establish standards for document templates, versioning, and reuse across multiple business use cases.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance document systems.
- Define rules, triggers, and automation logic across document workflows and downstream commerce events.
- Strong experience building workflow-driven, form-based, or document generation products at scale.
- Deep understanding of billing systems, invoicing, payments, or financial document lifecycles.
- Experience with AI-driven product features, no-code/low-code builders, or dynamic template systems.
- Strong UX sensibility with a track record of simplifying complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders including engineering, design, and GTM teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to define product direction and measure success.
- Excellent communication and product storytelling skills for executive and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements:
5–10+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, or workflow/document-based platforms, with proven ownership of complex product surfaces.
