Director, Product Management
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Product Management based in India.
This is a senior product leadership role focused on shaping and scaling a next-generation communications platform powering enterprise contact center experiences. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution for a core product ecosystem spanning APIs, UI capabilities, developer tools, and AI-enabled components that enable customers and partners to build scalable, intelligent engagement solutions. The role sits at the intersection of platform innovation, developer experience, and enterprise SaaS transformation. You will lead and mentor a team of experienced Product Managers while driving alignment across Engineering, Architecture, Design, and Go-To-Market functions. With a strong focus on AI-native evolution, you will help transform a leading contact center product into a modular, decomposed platform of services. This role also carries significant leadership responsibility within the India hub, influencing culture, execution, and ways of working across a large distributed organization. Accountabilities:
- Define and lead the product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for platform services, APIs, and developer infrastructure powering a large-scale contact center ecosystem
- Drive the evolution of the product into modular, AI-native, and decomposable platform components aligned with long-term architecture strategy
- Own end-to-end product delivery, ensuring strong alignment between roadmap priorities, engineering execution, and business outcomes
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Champion world-class developer and customer experiences through improvements in APIs, SDKs, documentation, and tooling
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Design, and Go-To-Market teams to deliver scalable and resilient platform capabilities
- Act as a key leadership figure within the India site, contributing to organizational culture, talent development, and cross-team alignment
- 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 4+ years in a leadership role managing platform or infrastructure product teams
- Proven experience building and scaling platform products such as APIs, developer tools, or cloud-native SaaS infrastructure
- Strong technical depth with the ability to engage in architectural discussions and evaluate trade-offs in distributed systems
- Experience working on multi-tenant SaaS platforms at scale
- Background in Contact Center (CCaaS) or Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) domains preferred
- Demonstrated success in hiring, leading, and mentoring high-performing Product Management teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global, cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, Voice AI, or agentic frameworks is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
