Oracle CC&B Test Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Oracle CC&B Test Lead based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end testing efforts for complex enterprise applications within the utilities sector, ensuring high-quality delivery of critical customer and billing systems. You will oversee both manual and automated testing strategies across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing streams. Acting as a key liaison between clients, developers, and implementation teams, you will help shape testable solutions from early design through deployment. The position requires strong leadership in coordinating distributed testing teams and managing multiple testing environments in fast-paced, Agile delivery settings. You will also play a central role in improving test automation maturity and driving continuous quality improvements. This is a client-facing role with significant exposure to enterprise-scale Oracle Utilities implementations and requires up to 80% travel within the United States.

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing for enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices to ensure complete coverage of business and technical requirements.
• Supervise testing teams and ensure alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
• Collaborate closely with clients, business users, and implementation teams to translate requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into test strategies.
• Work with automation engineers to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for regression and system testing.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business stakeholders and ensuring readiness of test environments.
• Monitor, maintain, and report testing metrics while driving continuous improvements in product quality and testing efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing within consulting or product development environments.
• Strong experience in both manual and automated testing, including test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software testing processes, deliverables, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts for test validation and data verification.
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and exposure to test management tools such as ALM.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills with experience working across distributed/global teams.
• Preferred experience with Oracle Utilities applications, particularly Customer Information System (CIS), Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), and Meter Data Management (MDM).
• Exposure to automation or development technologies such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, VB.NET, or PL/SQL is a plus.
