Inside Sales, Skyline Capital
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Inside Sales professional for Skyline Capital based in Canada.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, investor relations, and financial services, supporting the growth of a dynamic capital management business. You will engage directly with investment advisors and financial professionals to promote investment offerings and strengthen long-term relationships. The position involves both strategic outreach and hands-on client support in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will contribute to expanding market share by generating qualified leads and supporting senior sales leadership in client engagement activities. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with regional leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality investor experience. The role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, commercial curiosity, and a passion for capital markets.
Accountabilities:
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of market insights and research materials to support advisors and portfolio managers in understanding investment offerings and positioning.
- Conduct proactive outreach to investment advisors and financial professionals to generate leads, strengthen relationships, and expand market presence.
- Support the Regional Vice-President in preparing client meetings, roadshows, presentations, and investor-facing events.
- Build and manage relationships with advisors and institutional partners to promote investment products and drive business growth.
- Provide timely updates, product information, and portfolio insights to existing and prospective investors while ensuring strong client service standards.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan in collaboration with sales leadership to identify opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Use conceptual selling techniques and CRM tools to track activities, manage pipelines, and support structured sales execution.
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Completion of CSC or CFA Level I (or willingness to complete). CFA, CFP, or CIM considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in investment management, financial services, or related sales/client-facing roles.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, investment products, and/or exempt market investments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging advisors and institutional clients.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and managing structured sales pipelines.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, professionalism, and ability to work independently while collaborating in a team setting.
