Senior Beauty & Personal Care Sales Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Beauty & Personal Care Sales Account Manager based in Brazil.

This role sits at the center of strategic customer growth within the Beauty & Personal Care segment, managing key global and regional accounts with significant revenue impact. You will be responsible for shaping commercial strategies that drive long-term partnerships and unlock new business opportunities across a defined portfolio of high-value clients. The position blends strategic account leadership with hands-on commercial execution, requiring strong collaboration across technical, marketing, and supply chain teams. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating complex needs into tailored solutions that enhance performance and competitiveness. Operating in a dynamic, global environment, you will contribute directly to revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This is a highly visible role where your insights and decisions influence both account performance and broader segment strategy.

Accountabilities:

You will manage a portfolio of strategic Beauty & Personal Care accounts and distributors, driving revenue growth, profitability, and long-term partnership value. You will identify new business opportunities, develop tailored commercial solutions, and lead pricing and contract negotiations while ensuring alignment with customer needs. The role requires close tracking of forecasts, pipeline accuracy, and overall account performance to support strong business planning and decision-making. You will collaborate extensively with R&D, technical, supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of solutions. You will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives, represent sales in internal and external forums, and support segment-level strategy development.

  • Manage and grow strategic global and regional accounts within Beauty & Personal Care
  • Drive revenue growth through solution-based selling and opportunity identification
  • Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing
  • Translate customer needs into actionable commercial and technical solutions
  • Support strategic planning, business reviews, and segment-level initiatives
  • Represent the sales function in key internal and external stakeholder engagements
  • Requirements:

    You bring extensive experience in Beauty & Personal Care account management, with a strong track record of managing complex, high-value customer portfolios in global or multinational environments. You are highly skilled in commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic sales execution, with the ability to translate customer needs into impactful business outcomes. Your background includes strong analytical and forecasting capabilities, supported by a deep understanding of commercial performance drivers. You are confident working in cross-functional environments and influencing both internal teams and external partners. Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English are essential, with additional language skills considered a plus.

    • 10+ years of experience in Beauty & Personal Care or related chemical/materials industries
    • Proven success in strategic account management and revenue growth
    • Strong negotiation, commercial strategy, and stakeholder management skills
    • Experience managing global or multinational customer accounts
    • Ability to work with forecasting tools, CRM systems, and commercial analytics
    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field
    • Native Portuguese and professional English proficiency required
    • MBA or advanced certifications considered a plus
