This role is a high-impact, client-facing position focused on managing and expanding strategic relationships within the veterinary health and diagnostics sector.
You will be responsible for developing long-term partnerships with key enterprise clients while driving revenue growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction.
The position requires a strong ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring that client needs are understood, anticipated, and consistently met.
You will act as the central liaison between major accounts and internal cross-functional teams, coordinating efforts to deliver tailored solutions and sustained value.
This role combines business development, account leadership, and consultative selling within a dynamic, science-driven industry.
You will also contribute to shaping multi-year account strategies while identifying new growth opportunities in a competitive and evolving market.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with key strategic clients, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities within the veterinary diagnostics and animal health ecosystem.
  • Lead the end-to-end account planning cycle, including multi-year strategic roadmaps, financial targets, and performance milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer needs, solution delivery, and service excellence.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas, profitability targets, and strategic objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for account expansion.
  • Manage proposal development processes, contract negotiations, and participation in industry events to strengthen market presence.
  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in animal health sales, pharmaceutical sales, biotechnology, or related commercial environments.
    • Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or complex B2B sales with enterprise clients.
    • University degree in science, business, or a related field; advanced degree is considered an asset.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze financial performance and identify growth opportunities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working with veterinary clinics, distribution channels, or practice management systems is highly valued.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive annual salary range of $76,000 – $96,000 CAD.
