This role plays a key part in building and maintaining an efficient, transparent, and cost-effective procurement function within a mission-driven organization.
You will manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs, and vendor selection processes across a variety of categories such as services, facilities, and IT.
The position requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to evaluate supplier proposals while ensuring alignment with organizational needs and compliance standards.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to define requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and support contract execution.
A significant aspect of the role involves vendor relationship management, negotiation of pricing and terms, and ongoing supplier performance oversight.
You will also contribute to procurement compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of sourcing processes.
This is a highly collaborative role where your work directly supports operational efficiency and service quality across the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of sourcing events including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and competitive bidding processes across multiple categories.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and establish evaluation criteria for procurement activities.
  • Analyze vendor proposals, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and support supplier selection decisions.
  • Develop, issue, and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and sourcing records in an organized and auditable format.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address service level deviations in collaboration with business partners.
  • Track contract expirations, manage renewals, and support re-bidding processes where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and funding guidelines.
  • Assist with audits and reporting by maintaining accurate procurement logs, dashboards, and documentation.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or a related field preferred.
    • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, ideally within healthcare, nonprofit, government-funded, or similar environments.
    • Proven experience managing RFP/RFQ processes, vendor negotiations, and contract lifecycle activities.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
    • Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within teams.
